Challenger Point
Challenger Point in the Sangre de Cristo range, is not considerred to be a true fourteener, but shares the same name as this award and is the only fourteener with a direct connection to aviation. It was named in honor of the astronauts who died when the Challenger space shuttle disintegrated in 1986.
